The young man from Villach was brutally attacked and beaten by the three unknown perpetrators in the area of a bus stop. When the 20-year-old went to the Villach city center a short time later, he again encountered the three unknown persons. This time they wanted the man’s wallet. But the Villach man refused, whereupon he was attacked again. The perpetrators managed to steal the wallet.

20-year-old defended himself
“When the victim, according to his own statements, managed to remove a folding knife that one of the perpetrators was holding, the unknown persons fled,” Villach police said.

The 20-year-old suffered serious injuries to his face during the attack. A manhunt for the unknown perpetrators was negative. Further investigations are underway.
